How much does RCC international spend on UK salaries?

  • Absolutely nothing. We are a small charity supporting a variety of projects and all our income goes directly to those projects.

If you are a Christian faith charity does your support only go to Christian families/children?

  • Absolutely not! Whilst we support Christian projects all children's lives matter. We believe God cares about all children, as do we.

Where are your current projects?

  • We are currently supporting projects in Mexico City. The Gambia and West Yorkshire. Our support enables children to attend school, receive nutritional meals school uniform, books and in some instances medical provision.

Can I sponsor a child personally?

  • Yes, if you contact us directly, we can supply information on individual children requiring support.

Can I donate clothing and toys?

  • We only accept children's clothing (not adults) Items can be sent to our Wakefield address, but we are unable to collect. Please contact our office via email for more information.

Can I donate to a specific project?

  • Yes, please make it clear when sending your financial gift which project you would like to support.

How do I know if I send money for an overseas project, it will definitely go to that community?

  • We only support overseas projects which one of our team has visited personally.

How do I donate to your charity?

  • Please visit our donate section on this site and you will find all the necessary information there. If you are a UK taxpayer, please sign the gift aid declaration.

What is Gift Aid?

  • Gift Aid is a simple way to increase the value of your gift. If you pay tax in the UK, RCC can reclaim the basic rate of tax - which is 25% - on the amount of your donation. To simplify if you donate £100.00 ultimately with Gift Aid it is worth £125.00.

Can I raise money for RCC international by planning a fundraising event?

  • Yes absolutely. Our friends and local schools have taken part in various fundraising events including, a sponsored walk, sponsored cycle, bake sale and more. Please send us your ideas, dates and location and we will support your planning arrangements and help to facilitate the event.

You can also set up a JustGiving page if you would like to do something specific and need to raise funds prior to the event. JustGiving is a great way to raise money online and creating your page is quick and easy. You are then able to keep your supporters up to date with your fundraising activities.
