"Street children" is a term often used to describe both children who work on the streets selling, begging, shoe shining etc. (and return after a day’s work to live with their families), and homeless children who live and sleep on the streets, often having no contact with their families at all.

Since our last news update lots of exciting things have happened.
The 29th October 2011 has been confirmed as the first annual, Grand Chavos Ball.
The venue in Leeds has been booked and we are expecting nearly 200 people to attend.
We are planning a most wonderful evening, with all proceeds from the night going to our street kid work.

Anna the founder of R.C.C. International regularly visits Mexico City.
What she has seen there has given her the inspiration for her writing and the launch of the Chavos brand.
Anna is eager to inspire others through her charity work and regularly visits schools to speak about a variety of issues within Personal, Social and Health Education.

Hollie and her Dad cycled 11 miles together and managed to raise a grand total of £100. We are delighted with their efforts (most especially that of Hollie) and wish to thank her for all of her hard work and commitment.
Since being founded in 2002, we have supported various projects in Latin America.We are currently working with street teams and rescue centres in Mexico City and Guatemala. Our first building project is a house for 45 children including a new 12-place baby suite for abused and abandoned babies.
